You are welcome here!
Lynnhurst Congregational UCC Church is a progressive Christian community in Minneapolis. We care more about the love of God than judging one another. That’s why we have members who are young, old and in-between, gay and straight and people of all political persuasions.
An Open and Affirming church, Lynnhurst welcomes all who seek a spiritual home, based on Christ's message of unconditional love. We celebrate all loving and committed relationships and encourage questions and faith exploration.
We don’t want you to conform into someone else’s image of who you should be. Instead, we celebrate the person God has created you to be. If you’re looking for a church home where you’ll be accepted just as you are, then Lynnhurst might just be the place for you!

Worship Service 10:00 am
December 8, 2013:
Come hear the Christmas story in scripture and song at our annual Service of Lessons and Carols. The service is based on a tradition that began at King’s College in Cambridge England in 1918 and continues there and in churches around the world to this day. At Lynnhurst, we celebrate the coming of Christmas with nine scripture readings interspersed with music performed by members of the youth and adult choirs, and congregational singing of carols.
Kids, join us at Sunday School, 10:00 a.m.!
All children welcome, from pre-schoolers to high school students!
